Phoenix Valley Real Estate Market - January 2007-March 7, 2007 - Stats

I wanted to check out the comparisons from this year to last year during the same period. I'm liking how the graphs show so clearly what is happening with the market. So, I created another graph - similar to the one I submitted for Phoenix, Arizona from January 1, 2007 - solds, to March 7, 2007.

You will see by comparing notes that we have almost the same inventory but less sold. I'll put them both on this post so you can see the difference.

First, the Phoenix stats from January 1, 2008 to March 7, 2008:Phoenix Stats as of March 7, 2008

I think I like the look of my second graph better. I took the same tally for January 1, 2007 to March 7, 2007: Let's check out the difference:

Your market looks very similar to our own here in NC.  Hoping April brings more buyers!

Hi Teri,
Great graphs that tell the story in a very understandable and attractive way.

Looks like "Homes in Arizona" if off to a bang up start  with it's grafs. i'm sure the active will soon be turning to pending to sold soon.

Suzanne, we will all have more buyers - they're coming down the pike right now. ;-)

Cynthia, I like graphs......they are so much better - and prettier - than just plain numbers. ;-)

Julie, thank you. I'm refining it as I go. It helps me see where were are now compared to a month ago, a year ago.

Teri, I think - for the most part -  we're all visual, right? I think it's much easier to understand this way.

Hi Maria, yup, hopefully we'll really get the ball rolling.....thanks for coming by and commenting.

Hi Teri,

I like the graphs.  Next time can you stick with the same colors ie. pending both green etc.  It makes it easier to follow.

Leslie, I'm refining my graph skills! ;-)  Thanks for the tip - I agree. I did them on separate days, but plan to get them down pat.
