I've been watching as this hospital has grown to near completion for months. Located just south of the 60 in Mesa, Arizona, and just west of Higley Road and north of Baseline, this new Banner Gateway Medical Center will be hosting an open house/barbeque on Saturday, August 25, 2007 fron 10-2. This will give each of us the opportunity to walk the halls on a tour, and see for ourselves what this Medical Center offers. This is the second Medical Center to open in the southeast valley. With our growing population, more hospitals are scheduled to be built. Last word was at least three more.
This is a beautiful building rising high above the freeway. The guards let me pass through in order to take these photos as the crews were putting on the finishing touches to yet another Medical Center.

Hey Mary, more and more people are moving here so more hospitals are definitely needed. I think nurses are always needed. My daughter is completing her RN this semester. She is so looking forward to it. Hopefully she'll move to Arizona. She's in Long Beach now. :-)
Stephanie, here you are again. Thanks for chiming in. I think we can never have too many hospitals - at least in Arizona.
Mary, I am not sure. She just said it's one of the top rated -and hard- nursing program around. Does that help? She'll be done before she knows it. :-) Or at least that's what I keep telling her. We relocated from Southern California back to Arizona (I grew up here) because of the congestion and the traffic. Never looked back. Love, love, love, Arizona.
Thesa, yep, another new hospital. I get the info in my mail, drive by and take photos. We are growing soooo fast, that we need more hospitals - especially with the senior groups moving here every winter. Good memory Thesa! Thanks for coming by.......
Teri, it is a beautiful facility. There's nothing like a new hospital - just in case!!! Lots of new jobs, and more people moving here make it a "good thing" as well. Thanks for dropping by.
