My Speechless Sunday photo - Clouds With Endless Views!
I think all of us love clouds! It's just something about their shapes, their seemingly pillow-like puffiness, and their beauty! I remember lying on the grass looking up at the clouds and guessing what the shape was! I do the same now with my grandchildren to entertain them in the car.
This photo was taken along highway 60 North from Globe to Show Low this past summer during our monsoon season. I love the view of the curving road heading to? where? who knows?
This is my first post in the Cloud Group! Just discovered that one! Enjoy!

Ok I will do my best to enjoy the cloud formations thanks.
Great photo! Did you take it? I got a nice camera for Christmas.. and a tax deduction... and now need a photography for dummies class :)
I would also stare up in the clouds and try to determine shapes, trying to recognize faces or familiar creatures. Your picture is a great memory of times gone by.
I hope you had a very Merry Christmas and I wish you continued success in 2010.
This picture is stunning! Couds, sunsets, curvy roads, and water are my favorite things to shoot when I'm feeling artsy.
Have a happy new year!
Hi Teri...they all look like big fluffy pillows..nice shot !
Better clouds with an endless view than an endless view of clouds, I guess.
Teri, that is a beautiful shot! I lived on a cattle ranch in AZ as a teen, outside of Cave Creek on the Verde River. Such a beautiful place. The only photos I have are in my memory, so I do enjoy the pictures of Arizona. Thank you!
Teri....great views. It even looks a little like here in the mountains of East Tennessee. Have a happy New Year!
Teri - There is something mystical about clouds and their shadows and how sun peaks through them sometimes.
Thanks everyone for your comments. It is early on Monday morning, and since I won't have computer access for the next few days, I won't be able to individually thank each of you or stop by for a chat on your posts. I should be up and going by the 4th, so meanwhile, have a wonderful NEW YEAR!!!
Teri - GREAT Clouds picture! My son and I used to lay in the front yard and stare at the sky looking at the clouds. One day an officer patrolling the neighborhood stopped - he thought there was something wrong. When we told him what we were doing he got the biggest grin on his face and said he was going home to do the same with his daughter the next day he was off. Um, we moved cloud viewing to the back yard from that day on..... ;)
I think it is a beautiful shot. Happy New Year.
Nice shot--beautiful clouds and I love the road curving away in the distance. Hadn't known about the "clouds" group -- I'm off to check it out.
Teri The diiference between you and Northern Virginia is we don't have "endless views"
What an awesome photo and I think we have all laid in a park at one time or another in our life and looked up to the clouds and wondered what that cloud resembled.

Teri,
One of my earliest childhood memories is of laying outside on the lawn looking up at clouds with my "big sister" finding and identifying shapes as they moved across the sky. I never stopped looking up! Your composition makes me want to drive down this road; good job! Happy New Year!

I love the serenity of this photo! I also like the concept of "GOOGLE Teri" - very simple yet we all know you definitely have a pominent web presence!
Oh yeah this is a nice one to capture !!! Good job Teri ! Hope your year has started off well :o)
Teri,
lovely photo, it is really enjoyable that scenery specially on the middle of the road !
Thanks again to all of you. I'm on the mend and will be stopping by and sharing comments. ;-)
Out here it seems to be all (rain) or none (sun), but when we do get clouds, they tend to be quite beautiful.
Hi Teri,
Great photo of the empty road and the beautiful and peaceful scenery.Don't you just love driving like this ?
Happy New Year !
