I love FARMERS MARKETS! And supporting the local economy is great!
Hi Teri! What a great run-down and beautiful photo of one of my favorite local spots too! I could visit the farmer's market every day and not get tired of going!
Great Localism post...
BethAnn, I agree. Something about Farmers' Markets reminds me of growing up. ;-)
Debe, why thank you! I'll be checking out Chandler next week - it appears to be everyone's favorite. ;-)

What a great resources for your buyers, especially those who are new to the area.

Ah, Arizona: Warm in Winter.
Our Farmer's markets are all done for the duration here.
Hi Terri,
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Farmer's Market are an excellent way to get the best and freshest food while supporting your area by keeping tax dollars local. Win/Win!
Teri - I absolutely ADORE local Farmer's Markets and you have done such a wonderful job highlighting those in your area! Farmer's Markets provide such a great opportunity to give back to the local community! Love this post!
Teri you are lucky to have so many farmers markets so close by. I could not even name 3 where I live.
This time of year, aroeund here, the farmers markets have been replaced by winter snowscapes! I do enjoy the seasonal changes, but I do miss the fresh produce!
Hey Jeff, they are great, aren't they? I'm sure Southern California has plenty of them as well. ;-)
Jim, one of the many reasons to live in the south. ;-)
Cynthia, that's very true. Keeping the tax dollars local is key. ;-)
Leesa, thank you so much. I learned a lot as I did it. ;-)
Bill, as I mentioned - one of the many reasons to live in the south. ;-)
Janna, your area is beautiful - snowscapes are awesome! I love seeing snow now and again too. ;-)
We just had one open this year very close to our home it is a wonderful way to support the local farmers and get great produce that hasn't been shipped across the country. With winter setting in I'll have to wait until next spring.
Teri, That's wonderful information for anyone living in your area. I wish our area had more farmer's markets. The last time I visited a farmers market was when I visited my daughter in NCY at Union Square.

It makes me a little jealous that we don't have markets open year around. Maybe I just have to visit yours this winter. :)
